“I’m going to marry that girl”. Brady confidently announced this to multiple people, shortly after meeting Barbara. Seeing them together, I can understand why he was so sure of this. They are a perfect match. His love for her is so deep that he got married on the opening day of duck hunting, which is saying a lot for Brady. Brady was able to get some duck hunting in first thing that morning, so he didn’t totally miss out on opener morning, but it was still a big deal.
Our friendship started at the “Sip and See” Wedding fair at the Braham Event Center, back in 2019 and has just blossomed from there. Over some coffee, they shared with me how Brady proposed to Barbara when they were sighting in rifles. Barbara looked through the scope and saw that Brady had a big sign down at the target that asked, “Will You Marry Me?”. Since I got engaged to Caleb in a deer stand, we definitely shared that uncommon commonality and found that we had so much more common. It was such a fun night that turned into the friendship we have today.
Their wedding day was chosen, based on the closest date to their parent’s wedding anniversaries that are just days apart from each-other. They are such a thoughtful couple and pour into the lives of everyone around them, which made for an amazing day for all that attended their wedding. Hearing the emotional toasts, just confirmed how much these two have positively impacted so many lives.
Something I love about these two is how they are always up for a good laugh. Our initial plans for their wedding included a first look, but the following year, Barbara reached out to me to see if we could switch stuff around to pull a prank on Brady. Her plan? To swap out herself for Brady’s brother, Jared. Jared was all in and borrowed Barbara’s Mom’s wedding dress to pull off the prank. The results were hilarious! I was in tears laughing, as Jared confidently twirled in the dress. This is just one of the many great moments that took place on their wedding day that you’ll see below.
Barbara and Brady, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for choosing us to capture one of the most important days of your life! We are so honored and privileged! You both welcomed us into your day like we were family and we adored meeting all those close to you that were apart of your big day! You truly have such amazing families and friends! We wish you a lifetime of beautiful and fun memories together and we look forward to many more get-togethers in the future!
P.S. Barbara and Brady, Caleb took some video clips, while he was second-shooting and after seeing them, wanted to put something small together for you. Most of them are freehand, but we figured you’d love them regardless. So here is his accidental short Highlight Wedding Video. We hope you love it.
